The owner of a Westville enterprise was arrested on a cost of corruption after a sheriff’s business investigation uncovered that he was offering stolen car sections.
William T. Scott, 52, of Kouts, owner of Catalytic Trade in Westville, was arrested June 10, 2021, immediately after a big-scale investigation, according to the La Porte County Sheriff’s Office.
The investigation begun May perhaps 5 when deputies responded to a Clinton Township residence on a report of a theft in progress.
