Two drivers die in head on crash in Centennial involving a stolen motor vehicle.

Two motorists died Thursday evening in a head-on crash in Centennial involving a car stolen in Littleton.

The crash happened about 10:15 p.m. on East Dry Creek Street near the intersection of South Adams Street, reported Deputy John Bartmann, an Arapahoe County sheriff’s spokesman.

The driver of a stolen vehicle was eastbound on Dry Creek when the auto clipped the entrance end of a westbound auto, Bartmann reported.

The driver of the stolen vehicle was speeding and driving recklessly just just before the violent crash, Bartmann said. He died at the scene. The other driver, a lady, also died.

The suspect stole the auto at a gas station in Littleton at South Broadway and Dry Creek, Bartmann explained.

The sheriff’s business is investigating the deadly crash. Littleton law enforcement are investigating the automobile theft. Neither law enforcement agency was pursuing the stolen motor vehicle at the time of the crash, Bartmann reported.

Each motorists killed in the incident will be discovered by the county coroner’s office environment.
