Law enforcement say the pickup driver pulled into the intersection and collided with a semi truck that was hauling doubles carrying gravel.
OTTAWA COUNTY, Mich. — A 67-year-outdated man sustained non-lifestyle-threatening injuries soon after the semi truck he was driving was strike by a pickup truck in Jamestown Township.
Law enforcement say the crash took place Monday afternoon just prior to 4 p.m. An 18-yr-old guy from Hudsonville was driving a Ford F-150 pickup truck southbound on 32nd Avenue and stopped at a prevent indicator experiencing Adams Avenue. Law enforcement say the pickup driver then pulled into the intersection and collided with a semi truck that was hauling doubles carrying gravel.
The affect brought on the semi to depart the roadway and land driver’s side down in a ditch, in accordance to police. The driver was pinned within the car. After currently being extricated by unexpected emergency personnel, the driver was flown to a clinic with non-everyday living-threatening accidents.
Police say the cleanup is in depth and that the intersection will be closed even though the semi is recovered from the ditch.
The crash is still below investigation. Alcohol, medication and velocity are not thought to be components.
