Bethune, in shock and disbelief, responded to the article.
“I’m not sure if this is a ‘joke’ or something but my identify is absolutely Trinity Bethune. I am quite offended by this article, it truly is virtually a racial slur. If I’m not resolved by MY title then you should you should not address me at all,” she wrote.
Bethune reported the post was up for a lot more than an hour ahead of it was deleted. The screenshots promptly spread on social media and went viral on TikTok.
