HOUSTON – A man accused of thieving trucks’ tailgates and striving to promote them was shot in northwest Houston Monday, law enforcement explained.

According to Lt. Christopher Bruce with the Houston Police Office, law enforcement ended up originally called out to the 2000 block of Wirt Highway where by they observed a man with a gunshot wound.
